This trek is for the Himalayan connoisseur, beginning in Manali and continuing into the beautiful Kangra valley. The scenery is magnificent, and very few visitors follow this route. Village life, unchanged for centuries, is shaped largely by belief in Hindu gods and goddesses living in the mountains. Our final destination, however, is the Tibetan Buddhist center of Dharamsala, home to the Dalai Lama and a vibrant Tibetan community.
